Returns Policy

The following returns policy only applies to purchases made through www.calyxplantasexoticas.com

Purchases made in physical stores cannot be exchanged by this means and will have to be managed directly at our points of sale.

Purchases made in large areas or in other distributors' stores can only be returned or exchanged directly by contacting the original seller.

If you wish to make a change, return or warranty request for one of our products purchased online, you can do so in two ways:

  • In any of our stores
  • Writing an email to info@bromeliascalyx.com

Please note that Calyx SAS reserves the right to accept changes, returns or warranties with prior product analysis. Checking the status of the above conditions.

Conditions for making a change or return:

  • It is mandatory to present the invoice, informing the registered card number.
  • Ornamental plants have no changes.

Returns:

Money refunds only apply when exercising the right of withdrawal for purchases made through the Virtual Store (Online), and in the events and conditions provided for in Law 1480 of 2011 Article 47, provided that you exercise it for five (5) business days following the date of purchase.

According to numeral 7 of article 47 of Law 1480, property for personal use is exempt from the right of withdrawal.

In case the above requirements are met, Calyx SAS will refund the total amount you paid for the products, this payment does not include the transportation costs, which must be borne by the buyer, without discounts or withholdings. The return will be made within a maximum period of (30) calendar days, in one of the following ways:

  • Wire Transfer
  • Bank Account Consignment: Bank consignment will be made in the customer's name.

Please note that the shipping costs to return your products and exercise your right of withdrawal are at your own expense.

REVERSAL OF PAYMENT

The law provides that in sales made through e-commerce mechanisms and/or online sales, when a credit card, debit card or any other means of electronic payment has been used to make payment, participants in the payment process shall reverse payments at the consumer's request when:

  • The purchase corresponds to an unsolicited transaction.
  • The purchased product has not been received within the time reported in the delivery policy.
  • The delivered product does not correspond to what is requested or defective.

If any of the above grounds are met, in order to proceed with the reversal of the payment within five (5) business days, the consumer must return the product, where appropriate, and notify the issuer of the electronic payment method used to make the purchase, which, in conjunction with the other participants of the payment process, , they shall reverse the transaction to the buyer, once the goods have been received back.

Changes

To make a change in Calyx SAS you have a period of 30 calendar days after the purchase.

The change must be made for a product of equal or greater value (money will be charged for the difference in value). If the exchange is made for a lower value product, the difference in money will not be refunded.

All changes are subject to inventory availability.

Please note that transportation costs for the first change are at our own risk.If you are going to make a second change, you will have to bear the transportation costs.

Warranties:

At Calyx SAS we manufacture and market products with excellent quality standards, therefore, they are fully guaranteed. Customers should read the care of plants and products very well. If we see that the plant has been poorly maintained we cannot give a guarantee.

However, if the plant demonstrates quality defects despite its proper use, during the term of the warranty, or arrives imperfect, it will proceed as follows:

Products are guaranteed 60 days from the date of product billing.

The response of approval to the warranty shall be subject to the result of the technical evaluation carried out by Calyx SAS.

Please note that a product has no warranty if:

  • Care instructions have not been followed.
  • The product has been poorly treated.
  • Damage or damage is caused by incorrect use of the product.
  • The product was altered, violent or modified by the customer.
  • Damage or damage is caused by normal wear and tear of the product.

In case the product supports repair, it will be repaired, otherwise it will be changed. If the fault is repeated, the consumer's choice will be made the change. If the same product is not available, the customer may choose one of the same species and/or similar characteristics, or request that the value of the defective product be recorded as a balance in favor (credit note) which will be applied in an upcoming purchase.

Calyx SAS reserves the right to accept products with prior product analysis. The product must be delivered in good condition.

Where the damage comes from misuse of the product by the consumer, or the consumer does not attend or has taken care of the instructions using the product, no warranty will be given.

If approved we will proceed to make the change, guarantee or return within a maximum period of 15 calendar days.
